Navab began her career at Compass in Oct. 2018 as Reffkin’s chief of staff and was most recently brokerage president. Prior to her time at Compass, she worked at Urban Systems, Enjoy Technology, Box, and McKinsey & Company, according to her LinkedIn profile. Like Reffkin, she earned her undergraduate degree at Columbia. She earned her MBA at Harvard Business School in 2013.

As brokerage president, Navab oversaw Compass’s hundreds of offices and roughly 40,000 agents. In that role, she was responsible for managing the firm’s profit and loss, and driving revenue growth through the adoption of Compass’s platform as well as agent retention and the use of ancillary services.

Navab likewise played a significant role in Compass’s mergers and acquisitions, guiding the firm’s integration of businesses across several markets, including its integrations of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate and Anywhere Real Estate.
